Resources for Children & Young People
We know entertaining the wee ones at home can be challenging. To help with this, we are working on some simple craft resources you can do at home. We’ve also enlisted the community in helping tell some Bible stories each week!
Meanwhile our Teens are taking part in #challengeaccepted!
Mental Health Matters
This is a strange time for all of us. We have been particularly praying for people who live with poor mental health and are feeling even more isolated and anxious. Thankfully there are many helpful online resources:
Heads Together have collated a number of brilliant resources from the NHS, Calm and Mind. CLICK HERE to go there.
The Blurt Foundation have put together a downloadable talk and attached with advice from a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with over 10 years’ experience. CLICK HERE to go there.
Children and Young People:
Heads Together have written a great resource on how to talk to children about their worries and work it into their home-school lessons. CLICK HERE to go there.
Young Minds have written advice for young people struggling at this time. It includes a useful section about how to prevent social media from damaging their mental health. CLICK HERE to go there.
Church Fellowship
Praying Together
We continue to be connected to each other by phone and with our weekly catch up on Zoom!
The church is praying together every day during this time, using the “Daily Connect” resource that Andrew sends out each morning.
If there is something you would like us to pray for please get in touch.
Sunday Services
While we are unable to meet together, Sunday services are sent out via email each week.
The Baptist Union of Scotland also livestream every Sunday at 7pm to join us all in prayer. Find that HERE
